My July 2011 – July 2012, 366 day project. Check out my new blog now at www.robcartwrightphotoblog.wordpress.com
This Underground worker’s mohawk was awesome. I just had to ask for a portrait, and he very kindly obliged.
Good work, I see this guy most days and always impressed with the Mohawk that’s a serious piece of maintenance! I guess I’m more selfish about my experiences 😐
Really cool that you recognised him! I can’t imagine what the upkeep involved in that beauty is, but clearly it’s worth it.
Reblogged this on melanieabboud.
i was just wondering long time no see… or it’s your post title as in June but posted in July makes me confused…
This photo was taken on 27 June but published more than a month later – this is due to a backlog I had with my images due to delayed repairs I had with my main camera (see https://robcartwrightphotography.wordpress.com/2012/03/07/back-soon-i-promise/) and then I was away in the US from 6 March until 26 March in which time I shot thousands of images: when I got back to the UK I had more than 3,250 images on two cameras to sort, edit and post-process, and 20 days worth of images to blog. Al in all, it took me about a month to do this in amongst normal life, hence why my posts are still running about one month behind the actual day of shooting.
got it. clear.
Truly awesome. I’d notice him in traffic for sure.
Thanks Bernadette! Yeah, pretty hard to miss I’d say!!
GREAT! PUNX NOT DEAD!
Totally! This guy’s keeping the fire burning bright. Thanks!
