Up in smoke.
i dont like black and white. but i find yours about portraits are usually good, lol.
by the way pal, i’ve come accrossed some hard choices as to below combinations (point and shoot, other parameters are quite similiar.) advise me a bit again? 🙂
F3.3-5.9, 24-350mm, shutter speed 1/3200
F2.2-5.9, 24-105 or 120, shutter speed 1/2000
Fiona, not really mega sure on any of this as I’m no point-and-shoot expert. Also it depends on makes/models – searching for reviews online is your best option.
With regard to the specifications you’ve listed, it depends on what you’re looking to use it for: the one with a wider wide-open aperture (f2.2) will be better for getting a slightly shallower depth of field (greater blur beyond the point of focus). The one with the faster shutter speed (1/3200) will be a bit better at freezing motion (sport, animals, water etc). The one with the longest focal length (350mm) will be better for zooming in as it has greater reach (good for candid portraits, events, street stuff, nature) although if it’s digital zoom rather than optical the quality might diminish somewhat.
Hope that helps a bit.
i’ve already bought one. cheers and thanks! 😉
Cool, hope you’re enjoying it! : )

Hey Andy, not only do you like B&W, you’re also a true master with it. As such, your kind words mean a great deal. Glad you like the street shots! Many thanks.
